For the holidays, I made two cakes for the office party. The first is one of my most popular cakes, a raspberry walnut torte with cream cheese frosting. The cream cheese makes the frosting thinner than regular buttercream so the poinsettias are softer.

The second is a very moist chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. I thought it didn't have quite enough chocolate so added the M&M design.
Perfect for large groups, I made these for two different Halloween parties. I use two pumpkin spice Bundt cakes, trimmed and stacked together, then covered with cream cheese frosting. The pumpkin spice cake is also delicious unfrosted.
Last summer, my in-laws asked for a cake that didn't have too much frosting so I thought I would try a semi-naked cake. The result was a white cake with less vanilla frosting than I would normally use, topped with strawberries and clear glaze.
During the summertime, I like to make cakes with fruit, and raspberries are one of my favorites. The lemon and raspberry combination is appealing and light.
